World rowing master

From September 10th to 14th, 2025, the 2025 World Rowing Masters Regatta was held in Banyoles (Girona, Catalonia, Spain).

This event, organized by World Rowing, is the largest international competition dedicated to master rowers (from 27 years old and with no upper age limit, with categories extending up to over 80-90 years old).

Your Falcon Racing Europe team brought the latest generation of boats, ranging from 1x to 8+.

The chosen venue—Lake Banyoles—already has a rich rowing history: this natural body of water was the venue for the 1992 Olympic regattas during the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, ​​and in which our President Michel Andrieux participated in the 2x.

The 2025 edition attracted 5,428 entries from rowers representing 745 clubs from around the world.

On the water, the competition was fierce but friendly, and at the end of the regatta, the club trophy was awarded to the Sport Club Corinthians Paulista of Brazil.

Several members of this club rowed in our boats and helped us bring home several gold medals!

We also had the "octos" group, rowers aged 80 and over. World Rowing honors them every year with a dedicated ceremony.
